There are places on earth so overwhelmingly beautiful, that the beauty can only be understood as supernatural. There are moments in these places so profound, that the moments can only be described as holy.

The Sacred Places Project: Moments in the Wilderness is a film inspired by the human response to incredible natural beauty: moments where words are not enough. 

Film-maker Erik Coveney has created a sequence of his own divine experiences in nature, as experienced on an extended trip through the American West. As a musician, Erik’s natural reaction was to use the language of music to reflect the external beauty and his own internal revelations.

The result is a film of beautiful landscapes scored by music written in those places; music composed during those moments of human connection to the divine brought about by natural beauty.

The Sacred Places Project: Moments in the Wilderness is a journey not only through beautiful landscapes but also through the deeply personal moments of connection had in those places.
